Robert "Bobby" Hurt (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Robert “Bobby” Hurt, 77, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 13, 2017 in the Rose Hill Cemetery with Mr. Lamar McBride officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Robert was born on March 28, 1939 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Ed and Gracie Hurt. He lived in Tulia all his adult life. He married Joy Ann Johnson on February 3, 1968 in Tulia. He worked for Tulia Wheat Growers as an Elevator Supervisor for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, his three sisters: Reba Thornberry, Maxine Gilbert and Alma Jean Davis and seven brothers: Dallas Hurt, Thomas Hurt, Hubert Hurt, Darwin Hurt, Roy Lee Hurt, David Hurt and Eugene Hurt.
