Tulia, Texas—Aud “Red” Kinser, 88, died Monday, August 17, 2009 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. James Hassell, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Mr. Kinser was born February 8, 1921 in Emory. He married Velma Anderson on February 11, 1942 in Newcastle. He served in the US Army during WWII, seeing action in Italy and North Africa. After returning home to Newcastle, he worked in the oil fields of North Texas before moving to Tulia where he farmed for many years. Velma passed away on May 29, 2007 in Tulia. Survivors include two sons: Aud M. Kinser of Ft. Belknap, Texas and David W. Kinser of Tulia, one sister: Lois Clayton of Graham, Texas, three grandchildren: Todd Beck of Mineral Wells, Texas, Darlin Kinser of The Colony, Texas and Daniel Kinser and wife Cherese of Canyon, Texas and two great grandsons: Dathan Kinser and Caleb Noah Kinser, both of Canyon, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents: Harve and Minnie Ella Kinser, three brothers: H.A. Kinser, Claude Kinser and Jack Kinser, one sister: Bessie Inmon and one grandson: Vinson Beck
