Tulia, Texas—James “Jim” Kirby Musick, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on January 27, 2017 surrounded by his family. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Rev. Karan Young, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Tulia, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. James was born on March 15, 1943 in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Kemper Military School in 1960 and earned a Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counseling from North Texas State University in 1966. On April 2, 1966 he was married to Marshia Light in Gainesville, Texas. He served as Chief Executive Officer of The Arizona Foundation for the Handicapped since 1980. He enjoyed his work and his family. He is preceded in death by his father: Kirby Musick and mother: Betty Northcutt of Tulia, Texas. He is survived by his wife Marshia, daughter: Leeann, son: Kevin, and five grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you would consider a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
