Donnie Ray Clayton (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Donnie Clayton, 47, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Donnie was born on January 5, 1970. His parents were Verbie Womack Clayton and Jimmy Clayton. He was raised in Tulia and later moved to Amarillo. He is preceded in death by his father: Jimmy Clayton, his sister: Karolyn Clayton Degraff, his grandparents: Adie and Chloe Clayton, Frank Womack, Hazel Stubblefield and his step-grandfather: Walter Stubblefield, four uncles: Walter, Ralph and Bobby Stubblefield, A.L. Clayton, Jr. and Ben Clayton, five aunts: Mary Sue Ball, Jo Marek, Clara Carver, Linda Williams and Mary Helen McMillen. He is survived by his mother: Verbie Parker, his aunts: Ada Tenorio, Glenna Hernandez, Betty Roper, Nolie Wright, Pat Light and Virginia Clayton, one uncle: Jerry Clayton and numerous cousins.
