Janie Dardis (Plainview)

Janie Dardis, 60, went to be with the lord and departed loved ones on March 11, 2017 in her home. A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday March 16, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Monsignor Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Memorial Park in Plainview. Services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A rosary will be held at 6 P.M. on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the funeral home. Janie was born on May 8, 1956 in Lubbock to Reynaldo and Mary Quilantan. She grew up in Floydada where she graduated high school. Janie was married to Rod Dardis on March 7, 1992 in Plainview. She worked for Hale County Adult Supervision which she loved dearly; especially the people she worked with and the people she came into contact with. The three things that Janie held closest and dearest to her heart were her faith, family and friends. Her ten grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Quilantan; one sister-in-law, Ellia LaFont She is survived by her husband, Rod Dardis of Plainview; two sons, Toby Santos and wife Gina of Lubbock and Tyson Santos and wife Faviola of Plainview; one daughter, Tori Sypert of Lubbock; her parents, Reynaldo and Mary Quilantan of Lubbock; two sisters, Mary Lou Walden and husband Brad of Littlefield and Mary Ann Quilantan of Lubbock; one brother, J.R. Quilantan of Lubbock; and ten grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Joe Arrington Cancer and Research Center 4101 22nd Place Lubbock,
