Tulia, Texas—Virginia Grantham, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 26, 2017 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Virginia was born on November 8, 1933 to Alfred and Grace Oehrein. At an early age they moved to California where she attended schools and later moved to Lubbock where she grew up and attended schools. She moved to Tulia in 1949 and attended Tulia High School. She married Lesslye Grantham on July 13, 1950. She worked for the ASCS office for several years. She later worked at First National Bank as a bookkeeper for several years until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by two daughters: Charlotte O’Daniel and husband Dale of Tulia, Teresa Birkenfield and husband Kent of Canyon, one son: Lance Grantham and wife Predenia of Tulia; four grandchildren: Aarika Proctor and husband Russell, Blake Birkenfeld and wife Robyn, Brock Birkenfeld and wife Megan and Natasha Johnson and ten great grandchildren: Mikayla Proctor, Breck Proctor, Braxton Birkenfeld, Britton Birkenfeld, Sawyer Birkenfeld, Nash Birkenfeld, Jones Birkenfeld, Benjamin Birkenfeld, J.
