Carol Vargas (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Carol Lee Musquiz Vargas, 51, of Hereford, died Thursday, September 17, 2009 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, September 21, 2009 in the First Assembly of God Church in Tulia with Rev. Armando Pinales officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Carol married Gustavo Vargas on September 17, 2002. She was a housewife. Survivors include her husband: Gustavo Vargas of Hereford, two sons: Natividad Martinez of Houston and Augustine Martinez, Jr. of Plainview, her parents: Robert and Mary Musquiz of Tulia, three brothers: Robert Musquiz, Jr. of Tulia, Eddie Musquiz of Tulia and Jerry Musquiz of Midland, two sisters: Patsy Barrientez of Tulia and Rhonda Trevino of Hereford and 7 grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 pm Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel in Tulia.
