Janice Kay Gandy (Plainview)

Janice Kay Gandy passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at College Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Don Robertson, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Janice was born July 25, 1944 in Ft. Worth to Harley Rue and Iva Marie Golden. She graduated from High School in Ft. Worth. She married James Gandy in 1962 in Ft. Worth. The Gandy’s farmed for several years in Kress. James passed away June 26, 1994. Janice moved to Lawton in 1998. She is survived by her companion Keith Johnson of Lawton; a daughter Karan Shomaker and husband Tom of Amarillo; a son Brian Gandy of Burleson; a brother Leon Golden of Coaldale, Colorado; a sister Betty Terry of Princeton. One grandson Bryson Shomaker; two special friends Dakota and Walker .
