Nelda Rhea Widener (Plainview)

Nelda Rhea Widener, 88, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mrs. Widener was born on November 11, 1928 to James Edward & Myrtle Ann Borden in Navajoe, Oklahoma. She married Jesse Earl Widener on June 24, 1944 in Clovis, NM. She is preceded in death by her husband and one son, Keith Widener. She is survived by one daughter, Kristi Brown & husband Daron of Plainview; three grandchildren, Melody Brown, Cord Brown and Keeley Obenhaus and one great grandchild, Landon Obenhaus.
