Tulia, Texas—Jerry Jorgensen, 59, died Friday, May 19, 2006 in Tulia. Rosary/Vigil services will be held at 7:00pm Monday, May 22, 2006 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Tuesday, May 23, 2006 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Tony Neusch, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral directors in Tulia. Jerry was born April 17, 1947 in Lubbock. He grew up in Lubbock and graduated in Lubbock High School in 1966. He moved to Tulia in the 1970’s. He worked for Seed Resource for 28 years. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, Knights of Columbus. He was a supervisor of the whole plant at Seed Resource. He is survived by his wife; Margie Jorgensen of Tulia, 2 Daughters; Tara Dawn Jorgensen of Houston and Jill Beth Jorgensen of Houston. 1 son; Marcus Ray Jorgensen of Tulia, 6 step-children; Ramiro Rodriquez of Dallas, Martin Rodriquez and Rachel Rodriquez, both of Tulia, Doris Jorgensen of Lubbock, Becky Trevino of Kress, Leslie Briones and Rosemary Rodriquez, both of Tulia; his mother, Doris Jorgensen of Lubbock, 2 brothers; Timothy Jorgensen of Lubbock and Ricky Jorgensen of Lubbock, 1 sister; Sandra Weaver of Houston and 8 grandchildren.
