Carrie Belle Bradley, 93, of Tulia passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Tulia. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 5, 2009 in the First United Methodist Church in Tulia with Rev. Ernie McGaughey officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Visitation will be held from 2-4 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Carrie Belle was born on December 24, 1915 in Pampa, Texas, to John Franklin and Cora Potter Johnson. She married Robert N. Bradley on July 5, 1933, in Clovis, NM. She was a member of the Senior Citizens Center. She was in the Arminta Class of 1939 at First United Methodist Church, a member of the Ombudsman Program, and an Auxiliary Member of the VFW and the American Legion. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Carrie Belle was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, her parents, John Franklin and Cora Potter Johnson, one son, four brothers, three sisters, a son-in-law and a granddaughter-in-law. Survivors include two daughters, Judith M. Shelton of Amarillo & June Byrnes and husband Wayne of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three sisters, Helen Barlow of Prudy, Missouri, Lela Mae Nevins of Tulia, & Billie Mays of Haskell; one brother, Jimmy Johnson & wife Janie of Cimarron, New Mexico; six grandchildren, Randy & Judy Shelton, Gary & Paige Shelton, Jimmy & Mary K. Shelton, Carmen Enright, Sonya Byrnes, & Brett & Diane Byrnes; seven great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; four step great grandchildren and thirteen step great-great grandchildren.
