Herlinda “Linda” Nunez, 64, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M., Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father George Poonely officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Herlinda was born on May 25, 1953 in Plainview, Texas. She married Robert Nunez on May 29, 1967 in Plainview, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Nunez of Plainview; two sons, Steven Nunez & Andria Cuevas of Albuquerque, NM and Gilbert Nunez & wife Monica of Plainview; one daughter, Monica Quintero of Plainview; her mother, Isabel Hernandez of Plainview, TX; four brothers, Juan Hernandez & wife Venus of Plainview, Jesse Hernandez of Lubbock, Michael Hernandez of Plainview and Angel Torrez of Nipomo, CA; two sisters, Gloria Guerra & husband Luis of Plainview and Brenda DeLaCruz & husband Robert of Plainview; seven grandchildren, Bianca Nunez, Alexadria Nunez, Avery Blake Nunez, Mikalalea Quintero, Esteven Nunez, Mathieu Quintero and Enrique Nunez and one great granddaughter, Roselyn Nunez-Moore.
