Mike Williams (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas- Michael “Mike” Alvin Williams died on September 2, 2017 at the age of 58. A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5th from 5-7:00 p.m. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors, 201 W. Broadway, Tulia, Texas. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mike’s life. Mike was born on November 23, 1958 in Clovis, New Mexico to James and Wanda Williams. He graduated from Tulia High School in 1976. Mike was a member of the Tulia Volunteer Fire Department and The Plainview Elks Club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, fishing and golfing with his family and friends. Mike is survived by one daughter, Melissa Smith and husband, Brian of Aurora, CO; one son, Chance Williams and wife, Melissa of Canyon, TX; his parents, James and Wanda Williams of Lubbock, TX; one brother, Steve Williams of Pampa, TX; one sister, Rhonda Cummings and husband, Billy of Idalou, TX; five grandchildren whom he adored: Allison, Caleb, Michael, Lincoln, and Mark; along with numerous extended family.
