Theo Lee(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Theo Lee, 84, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in Tulia. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 in the Rose Hill Cemetery with Bruce Baird pastor of Central Church of Christ and Shawn Freeby, her grandson of Hillside Christian Church in Amarillo officiating. Theo was born July 16, 1925 in Silverton to L. N. and Mattie Chitty. She attended Silverton schools. She married Buck Campbell in 1951. She worked as a car hop at the Hiddy-Ho Drive Inn of Lubbock for a few years. She also worked for Dr. Morris Webb for over 35 years in Tulia. Mr. Campbell died in August 1979. She married Lloyd Lee on November 27, 1979. Mr. Lee died in April 1995. She also worked as a caregiver to elderly ladies in Tulia for several years. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law: Foy and Diane Campbell of Highland Haven, Texas, two daughters and one son-in-law: Brenda Elliott of Hereford and Joy and Larry Chapman of Tulia, one brother and sister-in-law: Roy and Gaye Chitty of Stephenville, one brother-in-law: Jack Martin of Amarillo, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
