Lewis Earl Shaw known to many as Bob passed away peacefully to join our heavenly Father September 27, 2017 in Longview, Texas. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Olton Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A time of visitation will be at Kornerstone Funeral Directors from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 6, 2017. He had made his home in Longview since 1999. Bob was born in Paris, Texas April 28, 1932 to Grover and Georgia Shaw. Bob attended schools in Purcell, Oklahoma before moving to Olton in 1949. There he met Naomi Genevia Howard and they were married April 12, 1952 and were blessed with two children. Naomi passed away after 45 years of marriage on October 3, 1997. Bob then married Hazel Cassady in Diana, Texas July 17, 1999 where they resided until the time of his passing. Bob was a lifelong Hale County farmer until the time he was able to enjoy retirement. Bob is survived by wife Hazel Shaw of the home; son, Wesley Shaw of Midland, Texas and daughter, Geneva Shaw Tipton and husband Drexel of Plainview; step daughters, Beverly Chisnall of Diana, Texas and Pam Crisler and husband Gregg of Diana; grandchildren, April Hall and husband Chris of Plainview, Lee Tipton of Plainview, Whitney LaShay Shaw of Midland, Raven Wesley Shaw and wife Paula of Lubbock, Christa Porter, Jarrett Chisnall and Taylor Chisnall, all of Diana; seven great grandchildren, Avery and Luke Hall, Hunter and Edward Shaw, Abbigail, Izabella and Cotton Chisnall.
