Julia Gallardo (Plainview)

Julia Gallardo, 77, of Plainview passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2009, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will be at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at the funeral home. Mrs. Gallardo was born January 14, 1932 in Hale Center, Texas to Jake and Adela Baca Jaramillo. She worked for Coca-Cola for 18 years and later worked for Vick’s Cleaners. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She loved to play bingo. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Gloria Graham of Temple, Mary DeLuna of Austin, Betty Gallardo of Plainview, Lee Gallardo, Jr. & wife Cindy of Plainview and David Gallardo & wife Brenda of Austin; her grandchildren, Gina Gallardo-Rodriguez & husband Ismael Rodriguez, Sr., Lori Gallardo & husband Daniel Holguin, Christopher Gallardo, Sr. & wife Laura, Michael DeLuna & Louisa Flores, Robbie DeLuna & wife Susan, Julie Anne Navarro, Jennifer Hernandez, Meghan Gallardo, Gregg Gallardo and Michelle Gallardo; her great grandchildren, Melissa & Eric DeLuna, Joel & Breann Gallardo, Meghan Vela, Pascual Holguin, Ivan & Gia Rodriguez, Evan & Christopher Gallardo, Jr., Isabella & Justine Gallardo, Brittany, Robbie Joe & Zachary DeLuna, Emily, Alison, & Sara Navarro and Kade Hernandez and one great-great grandchild on the way, Adyson Marie Cortez. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and four brothers.
