Donald John Reichwaldt (Plainview)

Donald John Reichwaldt, 77, passed away on October 22, 2017. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors with Rev. Rob Bridwell officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Plainview, Texas. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Reichwaldt was born on September 21, 1940 to John Jacob & Margaret M. (Schaad) Reichwaldt in Grover, Nebraska. He graduated from Milford High School in 1958. He later graduated from National Business Institute in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was employed as staff accountant in Lincoln, NE for 5 years; GL and chief accountant in Denver for 18 years and chief accountant and controller in Longmont for 18 years. His last 5 years was as a revenue auditor at Ameristar Casino in Black Hawk, CO. He retired in June of 2006. He is preceded in death by his parents, John & Margaret Reichwaldt and an infant brother, Gerald Reichwaldt. He is survived by his wife: Lorraine Reichwaldt of Plainview; stepdaughter: Diane Surratt & husband Randy of Greeley, CO; step grandson: Jeremy Surratt; sister: Geraldine Bothwell of Plainview; two nieces: Sharon Parish of Plainview and Susan McCallister of Lubbock and two grand nieces and one grand nephew.
