Pamelia Keel Cornwell, 70, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. A memorial service will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the College Heights Baptist Church in Plainview with Rev. Jason Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Always a friend, always the encourager, Pam will be missed by many. Even in the time of her deepest pain, she was always more concerned about others than herself. Her greatest legacy that she has left to her family and friends are the love of God and the need to pass that love to each person she met. Pam was born to Charles and Mary Keel on July 6, 1947 in Big Spring, Texas. She married the love of her life on July 13, 1967, she and Bob celebrated fifty years of marriage this past July. From this union came two wonderful sons, Charles and Shannon. Pam was an amazing mother, teaching them both the ways of the Lord. Pam served alongside her husband, Bob, for 42 years in the ministry of the Lord in all capacities, but more specifically as a youth instructor and as a pianist. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Shannon Lee Cornwell. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Cornwell; her son Charles and wife Ashley; four sisters, Beverly Canerdy, Cindy Jennings, Peggy Wakefield, and Charlene Wiegel. Grammy’s five precious grandchildren are Shannon, Jonathan, Caleb, Hannah and William.
