Harlan Crume (Plainview)

Harlan Crume passed away Friday, June 2, 2006 at his residence. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2006 at St. Alice Catholic Church with Father Jim McCartney, officiating. Interment will follow in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Harlan was born September 23, 1945 to Everett and Ruby Moyers Crume. He graduated from Lockney High School in 1963 and graduated from Texas Tech in 1967 with a BBA degree. Harlan married Mary Sue Burt in May 27, 1978 in Plainview, She passed away April 7, 1993. He was a CPA for Detroit Diesel in Albuquerque for several years before moving to the Providence Community where he was associated with Crume Gin in Providence until 1995. Harlan did furniture restoration, and bought and sold collectibles. He is survived by his daughter Abby Crume of Ft. Worth, two sisters Wanda Smith of Cumming, Georgia; Betty Clayshulte of Las Cruces, New Mexico. He is preceded in death by his wife and parents.
