Lidia Meza (Tulia)

Lidia Meza, 54, died Friday, June 2, 2006 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 7, 2006 in the Church of the Holy Spirit with Father Tony Neusch officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. Mrs. Meza was born on October 21, 1951 in Piedras Negras, Mexico. She grew up there before moving to Tulia in 1973. She worked for Mi Mama’s Tortilla factory for 10 years. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. She is survived by her husband, Francisco Meza of Tulia; a daughter, Elsa Rosales of Tulia; one brother, Ramiro Vazquez of Piedras Negras; two sisters, Zulema Vasquez of Florida, and Gloria Hernandez of Piedras Negras; and one grandson, Jose Angel Rosales. Rosary services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel.
