Fred Kelly, Sr.(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Fred Kelly, Sr., 72, died Saturday, November 28, 2009 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Fred was born October 19, 1937 in Marlin, Texas where he grew up and attended schools. He worked for Taylor-Evans Seed Co. in Tulia for over 15 years before he retired. He married Mearl Jackson in 1982. Survivors include his wife: Mearl Kelly of Tulia, six daughters: Billie Marie Kelly of Clovis, NM, Nicole Marie Kelly of Tulia, Patricia Ann Kelly of Tulia, Gwendalynn Renee Kelly of Tulia, Sandra Kay Kelly of Amarillo and Charity Stennett of Tulia, three sons: Fred Kelly, Jr. of Clovis, NM, Eric Kelly of Tulia and Laray Daniel Kelly of Tulia, 26 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
