Jo Beth Stephenson (Plainview)

Jo Beth Stephenson, 82, of Plainview died Saturday, December 19, 2009 in Lockney. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at College Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Stephenson was born October 3, 1927 in Carbon, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Odell Dobbins, Howard Thurman Tooke, Robert Paul Whitten, and Jim Stephenson. She is survived by four daughters, Venita Butler and husband Dennis of Plainview, Lonella Spruill and husband Jimmie of Plainview, Christi Clark and husband David of Jacksonville, TX, Jean DeForest and husband Pete of Traverse City, MI; three sons, James Truman Dobbins and wife Beckie of Livingston, TX, Dean Tooke and wife Donna of Houston, Howard Tooke of Scottsdale, AZ; one brother, William Dean Allen of Copperas Cove, TX; sister-in-law, Helen Tooke of El Paso, Texas; 18 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
