Tulia, Texas—Betty Bryant, 82, died Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Tulia. Vigil and Rosary services will be held at 6:00pm Monday, December 28, 2009 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. Burial will follow in Rose hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Betty was born April 15, 1927 in Hollywood, California to Harry Oscar and Maudie Jane (Tayrien) Vulgamott. She married Dewey Bryant on December 20, 1942 in Tempe, Arizona. They moved to Tulia in 1947. She worked for the Federal Land bank for 7 years and TISD for 28 years. She was a member of the Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dewey on August 24, 2005, her parents and a brother, Ronald Ricky McAnelly. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Harvey and Diana Bozeman of Tulia, her son and daughter-in-law: Dewey and Susan Bryant of Odessa, her sister: Shirley Ann Danner of Sun Lakes, Arizona, three grandchildren and their spouses: Ronda Horn and husband Dean of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Buttons Bozeman and wife Andrea of Tulia, Texas and Becky Jean Latham and husband Toby of Odessa, three great grandchildren: Clinton Dean Horn and Cameron Horn both of Carnegie, Oklahoma and Brylee Jean Latham of Odessa.
