Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jay Simpson, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Kress Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Friday, January 8, 2009, at the funeral home. Mrs. Todd was born on March 11, 1935 in Kress, Texas to Carl and Ona Elizabeth Losson. She graduated from Kress High School in 1953. She married Talmadge Ray Todd on May 30, 1953, in Kress. He preceded her in death on July 25, 2007. She was a well known cook at the family owned Losson’s Restaurant in Kress. She was a member of Kress First Baptist Church. She was the most caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend the Lord ever gave us. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include one daughter, Michelle Todd of Amarillo, Texas; three sons, Michael Todd of Liberal, Kansas, Carey Todd of Kress, Texas and Kelly Todd & wife Mary Beth of Lubbock, Texas; one sister, Paralea Scouten; four grandchildren, Jeremy Todd, Morgan Todd, Kailey Todd and Noah Todd; one nephew, Jon Scouten and many friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kress Cemetery Fund, c/o Kress National Bank.
