Lois Baldwin Morrison (Plainview)

Lois Baldwin Morrison, 94, of Lubbock, died Friday, February 26, 2010, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 1, 2010, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Sid West of Bosque Farms, NM officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Lois was born on September 15, 1915, in Gainesville, Texas, to Ruby Garner Robinson and William Ellis Robinson, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Muleshoe. She was a Sunday School Teacher and President of PTA. She was a woman of great character and integrity and loved by her friends and family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Floss “Fluff” Baldwin, her second husband, Cletus Morrison, a son, Gaylon Dale Baldwin, a brother, William Ellis Robinson, III, two grandsons, a great grandson and a great granddaughter. Survivors include four daughters, Ruby Anna Baldwin of Albuquerque, NM, Sara Petty of Lubbock, TX, Floyce Henderson & husband Johnnie of DeKalb, TX and Darla Rhodes & husband Joe of Clovis, NM, a son, Larry Baldwin & wife Reva Lynn of Whiteface, TX, two sisters, Christine “Teeny” Bennett of Plainview, TX and Cleo Bennett & husband Melvin of Plainview, one brother, Ralph Robinson & wife Ima of Tahoka, TX, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to New Mexico Baptist Children’s Home, P.O. Box 629, Portales NM 88130.
