Gary Wayne Scott (Plainview)

Gary Scott, 52, of Plainview, passed away at 1:29 p.m. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at Covenant Hospital Plainview. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 at Seth Ward Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Ritter, pastor officiating. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Scott was born to Curtis Wayne and Marquetta Scott on August 9, 1953 in Plainview. Mr. Scott grew up in Kress and owned G&S Irrigation. He married Vickie Stafford on July 11, 1988 in Clayton, New Mexico. Survivors include his wife; Three daughters: Melia Selman of Sherman, Karrie Peoples of Hale Center and Karla Kinikin of Canyon; One son: Kelly Bain of Amarillo; One brother: Jackie Scott of Kress; Two sisters: Beverly Cortez of Coleman and Judy Scott of Abilene and seven grandchildren.
