Consuelo Subealdea (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas— Consuelo Subealdea, 77, died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Father Tony Neusch, pastor of the Church of the Holy Spirit officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors in Tulia. A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, August 11, 2006 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. She was born February 18, 1929 in Taft, Texas. She grew up in Mexico. She lived in Harlingen from 1953 until she moved to Tulia in 1967. She married Eleazar Subealdea in 1951. She worked for the Tulia Health & Rehabilitation Center for about 18 years. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or to the American Heart Association, 6605 I-40 West, Building A-6 Amarillo, TX 79106. Survivors include Eleazar Subealdea of Tulia, two daughters; Norma Cruz of Midland, Texas and Maria Elena Gomez of Tulia, six sons; Jaime Subealdea and Eleazar Subealdea, Jr. of Plainview, Texas, Eloy Subealdea, Frank Subealdea, Baldemar Subealdea and Eddie Subealdea, all of Tulia, Texas, two brothers; Francisco Sifuentes and Daniel Sifuentes, both of Reynosa, Texas, 21 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
