Clarice Inez Caroline(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas--Clarice Inez Caroline, 89, died Tuesday, March 3, 2010 in New Iberia, Louisiana. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 8, 2010 in the Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Eddy Helms, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Clarice was born June 5, 1920 in Dierks, Arkansas. She married Francis Caroline on January 5, 1952 in Childress, TX. They moved to Tulia in 1963. She owned and operated a grocery store here for 10 years. Mr. Caroline died in April, 1984. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Jani and Tom Guth of New Iberia, Louisiana, three grandchildren: Meagan Guth of St. Charles, Missouri, Amy Smith and husband Trey of Leavenworth, Kansas and Matthew Guth of New Iberia, Louisiana, her first cousins: David Smith of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, Shannon Warren of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Joe Payne of Weatherford, Texas and Joyce Blackwell of Amarillo, Texas.
