Veotis Henderson (Tulia)

Seagraves, Texas—Veotis M. Henderson, 52, died Sunday, August 20, 2006 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 24, 2006 in the First Baptist Church in Tulia with Rev. H.L. Lewis of Odessa, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Mr. Henderson married Charlene Willis on June 11, 1980 in Tulia. He was a member of the United Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Seagraves. Survivors include his wife; Charlene Henderson of Seagraves, three children; Steven Hall of Midland, Texas, Benjamin Henderson of New Deal, Texas and Venisha Henderson of Casa Grande, Arizona, one brother; Cleveland Henderson of Tulia and 12 Grandchildren.
