Mr. Aguilera was born October 10, 1947 to Agustin and Marcelina Aguilera. He lived the American dream. Having come from a rural village in Mexico with barely a 4th grade education, Francisco became a successful farmer/landowner in Plainview, TX. He was the youngest male of the family with four brothers and four sisters, (he is survived by two brothers and three sisters) and began to work at an early age in Mexico where he learned the art of farming. Francisco was a lover of God whom devoutly attended Sacred Heart Catholic church with his immediate family, four grandchildren and sons and daughter in law. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus having reached his 3rd degree. His generosity and compassion for others made him unforgettable to those whose lives he touched. Francisco played guitar, viguela, violin, guitarrón, and any other instrument you put in front of him. His faith and love for music transcended playing for Mass at Sacred Heart for 30 years. Local Mariachi bands knew him well for his singing and passion for traditional Mariachi music. Any family gatherings were not complete without music. His love and talent for music was something he also passed on to his children. His love for his family was evident to all. He adored his wife, Leodegaria who he met in Los Angeles, California and married on September 3, 1976. The love they shared allowed them to raise four children who he adored and was extremely proud of. He was the best husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, and friend anyone could ever have.
