Mildred Mouser(Plainview)

Mildred Dean Brooks Mouser, 82, of Plainview passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at First United Methodist Church in Plainview with Rev. Jerry Moore officiating. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. in Silverton Cemetery with Gary Weaks officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, April 23, 2010 at the funeral home. Mrs. Mouser was born September 30, 1927 in Wayside to J.H. and Mable Langston Wesley. She married A.T. Brooks in February of 1946 he preceded her in death in 1973. She then married Bud Mouser in May of 1980 and he preceded her in death in 2007. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Mrs. Mouser is survived by two daughters: Fern Minyard and husband Carl of Silverton and Joyce Drewry and husband Ron of Abilene; two sons: Bill Brooks and wife Janinne of Silverton and Roy Brooks of Lubbock; one brother: Crawford Wesley and wife Betty of Tulia; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
