Maria Salas Hernandez(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas-Maria Salas Hernandez, 90, died Friday, May 28, 2010 in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Maria was born September 2, 1919 in Placenton, TX. She was a homemaker. Survivors include six daughters: Olivia Salas of Tulia, Lilly Vargas of Plainview, Maria Garza of Goodland, Kansas, Juanita Zuniga of Amarillo, Lisa Mata of Tulia and Mary Hernandez of Tulia, four sons: Ysmael Salas, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, Daniel Salas of Amarillo, Israel Salas of Pilot Point and Ezekiel Salas of Dallas, 57 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several great, great grandchildren. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the funeral home.
