Beverly Clifton Kimbrough (Plainview)

Beverly Clifton Kimbrough, 58, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00PM Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in the First Baptist Church Sanctuary with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor officiating and Lanny Voss assisting. Funeral services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Beverly was born to Bill and Joan Clifton on December 29, 1951 in Cactus, Texas. She married Richard Kimbrough on August 14, 1971 in Amarillo, Texas. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker, she also worked for an advertising firm for twenty years as a sales person. She was a sorority member of Chi Omega at WTSU and a member of PEO in Plainview. She is survived by her husband: Richard, two daughters: Julie and husband Price Pritchett of Austin, TX, Suzanne and husband Kyle Dickey of Sugar Land, TX, one son: Ramey Kimbrough of Pleasanton, TX, a brother: Jimmy Clifton of Amarillo, TX, her parents: Joan and Bill Clifton of Amarillo, TX and five grandchildren: Emma, Hallie, Early Pritchett, Rye Kimbrough and Kate Dickey, each one was absolutely the love of her life. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, June 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
