Paul Murrell (Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Paul Murrell, 69, died Sunday June 27, 2010 at his residence in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in the First Baptist Church with Lee Moore officiating and James Hassell assisting. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Paul was born July 21, 1940 in Tulia to J.B. and Loreta Murrell. He grew up here and graduated from Tulia High School in 1958. He was a farmer and a member of First Baptist Church. He married Ann Thomas on December 17, 1966 in Clovis, NM. He is survived by his wife: Ann Murrell of Tulia, two sons and daughters-in-law: Terry and Tish Murrell of Tulia and Kevin and Nancy Murrell of Giddings, one sister: Delia Langston of Granbury and four grandchildren: Brooke Murrell of Ft. Worth, Taylor Murrell of Tulia, Tevyn Murrell of Tulia and Jacy Murrell of Tulia. He is preceded in death by one son: Kyle Murrell.
