Levie Laverne Wallace (Plainview)

Levie Laverne Wallace, 78, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, July 16, 2010 in Plainview. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Childress Cemetery in Childress, Texas with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Laverne was born May 1, 1932 in Childress, Texas to Walter and Canard Anglin Childers. She left behind a legacy of love. She is survived by two sons: Michael Stephens of Plainview and Randy Stephens and wife Pam of Mansfield; one daughter: Deeda Carter and husband Wes of Plainview; two sisters: Merlene Richardson of Cape Cod and Lou Johnson of Sacramento; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
