Alma Lorays Totten Kelly, 97, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev Kyle Brock, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. She was born in Clarendon, Texas, on September 27, 1912 to Dee B. and Clora Totten. Alma graduated from Portales High School. On June 13, 1933, she married Jimmie Lee Kelly from Fort Townsen Oklahoma in Roswell New Mexico. They had two children Jim D. Kelly and C. Merton Kelly (deceased). Alma worked along with her husband beginning in 1948, at Kelly Refrigeration and Electrical in Plainview. They operated the Frigidaire franchise. Alma was in charge of all office and accounting duties. Alma was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Terrell Sunday School Class. Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her parents Dee B. and Clora Totten. Her sisters, Gladys Hahn, Grace Hahn, Twins EvaLee and EvaMay Totten. Her brothers, Lloyd and Bufford Totten. Alma is survived by one son Jimmie D and Iryna S. Kelly of Plainview, Texas. Her grandchildren, Jimmie and Susan Kelly of Denver, Colorado, Karl and DeLynn Wardlow of Plainview, Texas, David Kelly of St. Petersburg, Florida, Gregg and Sandra Reid of Clovis, New Mexico, Bryan and Laura Reid of Clovis, New Mexico. Her Great-Grandchildren, Mackenzie and Conor Kelly of Denver, Colorado, Shields and Cerissa Stockdale of Houston, Texas, Kailey Wardlow of Austin, Texas, Gered, Travis, and Tiffany Reid of Clovis, New Mexico, Levi and Hanah Reid of Clovis, New Mexico. Her Great-Great Granddaughter, Tess Lorays Stockdale of Houston, Texas. The family wishes to express our love and appreciation to Laverne Shannon for her dedicated love and care for many years.
