Frances Pearl (Vaughan) Hutson, 72, went to be with her Lord according to Jesus’ words John 3:16 at Quincy, Michigan on September 24, 2010. Frances was born Nov. 10, 1937 in Swisher County, Texas. She was a daughter of the late Zora and Simmual (Elisha) Vaughan. She has resided in Coldwater and Quincy approximately 8 years since moving from Tulia, TX where she and her husband had lived their entire lives. Frances was blessed by her marriage to Noel Darwin (Shot) Hutson for fifty-one and ½ years before he went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2005. The couple was married in the First Methodist Church in Happy, TX on May 29, 1954 and God again blessed them with three beautiful children: a son, Gary Don Hutson and wife Jeannie of Quincy, MI, two daughters: Pandy Sue Bell and husband David of Lubbock, TX and Penny Marie Mitchell and husband Brent of Albuquerque, NM. Frances and Shot felt very blessed when God gave them the following grandchildren: Jayson Don Hutson and wife Vanika of Lubbock, TX, Jacob Cary and wife Jinni of Germany, Justin Cary of California, Jason Cry of Quincy, MI, Ricky Aleman and wife Celeste of Littlefield, TX, Cory Aleman and wife Juanita of Lubbock, TX, Missy Marie Aleman of Lubbock, TX, Devon Bell of Lubbock, TX, Hannah Noel of Albuquerque, NM, and Henry Albert Hutson of Albuquerque, NM. Her great grandchildren: Jayten Michael Hutson of Lubbock, TX, Sophia and Olivia Cary of Germany, Brianna Aleman of Littlefield, TX, Ava Marie Aleman of Lubbock, TX. Her sisters: Martha Hooper and husband Joe of Tulia, TX and Ellouise House and husband A.G. of Tulia, TX and two sisters-in-law: Claudette Furgeson of Tulia, TX and Bobbie Hutson of South Fork, CO plus several wonderful nieces and nephews that are loved dearly. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Shot, her parents and two brothers: Wandie Hutson and Bill Furgeson and many saints who have gone on before. Frances attended Happy School in Happy, TX and after her marriage she attended Amarillo Beauty School and continued in the hair styling business for over 40 years where she made many friends and acquaintances. She was very active in the First United Methodist Church in Tulia where her greatest joy was serving the Lord and seeing Jesus work his many miracles. Page 2 of Hutson obit When moving to Michigan Frances and Shot fell in love with the people there and continued to serve the Lord by leading an early morning bible study, taking part in prayer group, Sunday school, grief share, caring ministry and wherever she was needed to do God’s work. Her hearts desire is that her friends and brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ would open their hearts to the leading of the Holy Spirit and do the works that Jesus set before them to do and that their eyes and ears will always be open to His calling. Funeral services for Frances will be held on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Tulia, TX at 2:00 pm with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia, TX. It is her request that memorials go to the First United Methodist Church in Tulia for whatever is needed and also to the Lubbock Rescue Mission for the homeless @ lubbockrescuemission.org. By request and love for her church in Michigan she would like memorial donations be given to repair the beautiful stained glass window or Gideon Bibles to spread the word of Jesus. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Frances will always remember that she always put God first in her life and always gave God all the glory for anything good that was done. We will always remember her hugs and deep Christian Faith.
