Tim Sturgess(Tulia)

Tulia Texas—Tim Sturgess, 53, of Lubbock died Saturday, September 25, 2010 in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the Central Church of Christ in Tulia with Bruce Baird, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the funeral home. Tim was born on January 12, 1957 in Tulia. He grew up here and graduated from Tulia High School in 1976. He worked for J & W Plumbing in Lubbock for 13 years. He is survived by his wife: Teresa Romo of Lubbock, one daughter and son-in-law: Samantha Sturgess and Brian Yovicson of Lubbock, two sons and a daughter-in-law: Stewart Sturgess and Jessica Garcia of Lubbock, Sean Sturgess of Lubbock, two step-daughters: Tricia Moore and Zelda Lopez both of Lubbock, two step-sons: Robert Chavez and John Romo both of Lubbock, three grandchildren: Wyatt Sturgess, Allyssa Sturgess and Benjamin Sturgess, all of Lubbock. He is preceded in death by two brothers: Charles and Robert Sturgess.
