Tulia, Texas-Robert Galvin, 58, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in Tulia. Cremation services are under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Robert was born May 3, 1952 in Clayton, NM to Robert F. and Nora Galvin. He was a gunsmith, mechanic and did woodworking. He worked as a custodian for Palo Duro High School in Amarillo. He was a member of Life Tabernacle Church since 1974. He is survived by one daughter: Julia May Kelley of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, two sons: Joshua Galvin of Amarillo and John Galvin and wife Amy of Springfield, MO, 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, one sister: Donna Hayden of Kingman, AZ and one brother: Jerry Galvin of Amarillo. He is preceded in death by his parents: Robert F. and Nora Galvin, three brothers: W.A., Freddie and John and one sister: Julia. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the Life Tabernacle Church. Cremation burial will be held at 3:00 pm MST in the Clayton Cemetery in Clayton, New Mexico.
