Paul Edwin Walker (Plainview)

Paul Edwin Walker, 77, of Plainview, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, in Plainview. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 16, 2010, at La Primera Iglesia Bautista with Ronnie Hedges officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation for family and friends will be from 5-7 P.M., Friday, October 15, 2010, at the funeral home. Mr. Walker was born on July 6, 1933, in Munday, Texas, to Joe Wheeler and Callie Clementine Burns Walker. He married Irene G. Burkett on Sept. 12, 1955 in Ft. Worth. Paul was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran. He enjoyed working outdoors and loved to work in the garden. He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Walker, his parents, a son, Joe M. Walker, a brother and a sister. He is survived by two sons, Paul Walker & wife Josie of Plainview and Lloyd Walker of Bronte; ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
