Julian Aranda (Plainview)

Julian Aranda, 70, of Plainview passed away on Monday, October 18, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 22, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Reymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A Rosary for family and friends will be at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the funeral home. Mr. Aranda was born on November 13, 1939, in Mexico to Tomas and Basilia Aranda. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife: Francisca Aranda of Plainview; seven sons: Horacio Aranda of Mexico, Jose Cayetano Aranda of Chicago, Juan Manuel Aranda of Plainview, Francisco Javier Aranda of Mexico, Julian Aranda Jr. of Lubbock, Israel Aranda of Plainview and Efrain Aranda of Lubbock; one daughter: Dora Luz Aranda of Plainview; four sisters: Gloria Valdez, Miguelina Valdez, Oralia Aranda and Maria DelRosario Valdez; twenty- six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
