Virgie Lee Cozbey(Tulia)

Tulia, Texas—Virgie Lee Cozbey, 85, died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at her home in Tulia. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Thursday, November 4, 2010 in the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia. Virgie Lee Waldrum was born May 16, 1925 in Bells, Texas. She married Robert Cozbey on November 23, 1942 in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a housewife. Survivors include her husband: Robert Cozbey of Tulia, her children: Leona Smith of Pecos, Patricia Scott of Tulia, Jerry Cozbey of Dalhart, Robert Cozbey of Dimmitt, Judy Leavitt of Tulia and John Cozbey of Tulia, 31 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 11 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Maggie Waldrum, one daughter: Barbara Ann Haught, two brothers: Uell Waldrum and Vernon Waldrum, one sister: Vera Russell, two grandsons: Raymond Mathew Smith and Richard Lee Smith and one son-in-law: R.S. Smith.
