Bobbye Glen Green (Plainview)

Bobbye Glen Green, 84, of Plainview, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2010, in Plainview. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 15, 2010 at the Family Life Chapel at First Baptist Church with Dr. Travis Hart officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Green was born on October 16, 1926, in Lubbock County, Texas to Joe Ogden and Irma Cicily Lowry Day. She graduated from Idalou High School and attended the University of Texas. She worked as an X-ray Technician before she married Ray Lynn Green in 1956 in Petersburg. She was a homemaker and also was an office assistant in her husband’s office. She was a member of The Pastor’s Class and she was also a volunteer with the Hospital Auxiliary. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Tommye Jo Cole. She is survived by a daughter, Shelly Slack & husband Mike of Plainview; two grandchildren, Brent Slack of Lubbock and Darin Slack of Canyon and two nephews, Bob Cole of State College, PA and Dayvid Cole of Lubbock.
