Donna Ann Keesee (Plainview)

Donna Ann Keesee, 74, of Edmonson, passed away at her home on November 15, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Edmonson First Baptist Church with Rev. Rush Coffman, pastor of Second Baptist Church in Lamesa. Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Keesee was born January 13, 1936 in Slaton, Texas to Pete and Helen Workman. She was raised in Slaton before moving to Edmonson in the early 1950’s. She graduated from Kress High School in 1953. She married Fred Keesee on August 27, 1955 in Edmonson. She was a homemaker until 1981 when she went to work for PISD as an Attendance Clerk. She retired in 2004. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Edmonson, member and Past President of PESSA, and also Past President of the District PTA. She was an avid and die hard Texas Tech Fan. Survivors include her husband Fred Keesee of Edmonson; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Keesee of Springdale, Arkansas, Kory Dawn Musquiz and husband Jon of Lubbock; one son, Doug Keesee and wife Tonya of Plainview; her mother, Helen Workman of Plainview; one sister, Judy Lynn Mattox and husband Gary of Lubbock; four grandchildren, Christopher Kaiser of Plainview, Carson Musquiz of Lubbock, Dustin Glenn and wife Andrea of Kress, and Devin Glenn of San Marcos. She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Workman.
