Kirby Koen Culp (Plainview)

Kirby Koen Culp, 72, of Canyon passed away November 18, 2010 in Amarillo. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 22, 2010 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Earl Blair and Rev. Donna Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Visitation will be held Monday, November 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Culp was born September 14, 1938 in Plainview, Texas to Cecil Perry and Alice Grisham Culp. He married Linda Deanna Goodwin on April 7, 1977 in Dallas. Mr. Culp owned K-Bob’s Steak House in Borger, Andrews, Odessa, Monahans and Hobbs, New Mexico. He was a member of the Texas National Guard, Sigma Nu Fraternity and First United Methodist Church in Canyon, Texas. Mr. Culp is survived by his wife: Linda Culp of Canyon; two daughters: Destiny Smith of Conroe and Summer Stanley of Colleyville; one step daughter: Christy Stewart of Canyon; one sister: Arlis Sims and husband Leon of Kingsland and four grandsons: Gentry Smith, Graesen Smith, Sawyer “Mac” Stanley and Ryder Stanley. He was preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Alice Culp. The family would like to extend a heart felt Thank You to all the staff of The Village at Ware Living Center in Amarillo, Texas.
