Juanita Pool, 90, of Petersburg, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Littlefield. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at First Baptist Church in Petersburg with Rev. Don Raney and Rev. Jesse Nave officiating. Burial will follow in Petersburg Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Juanita was born on September 13, 1920 in Farmerville, Texas to Daniel and Tenny Turner. She lived in Idalou and Becton. She was a Caterer and a Baker out of her home. She married Glenn Pool in November 27, 1937 and he preceded her in death in 2000. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg and a member of the Senior Citizens. She served on the Library Board for many years and helped with the summer reading programs. Survivors include her two sons, Herschel Pool and wife Dania of Charlotte, North Carolina, Rick Pool and wife Alma of Littlefield; sister, Joyce Murphree of Plano; seven grandchildren, Joshua Pool, Jennifer Pool, Alicia Collins, Mekenna Collins, Ricky Don Pool, Kortney Robles, Kairi Pool, and three great grandchildren.
