Donald Loflin (Plainview)

Donald Loflin, 64, of Plainview, passed away monday, November 27, 2006 at Covenant Hospital Plainview. Services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 2, 2006 in Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Rev. Jay Simpson officiating. Interment will be in Ft. Sumner, New mexico by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Loflin was born February 13, 1942 in Clovis, NM to Wesley Rice and Susie Lee Loflin. He married Luana Cones on August 11, 1961 in Ft. Sumner, NM. He moved to Plainview in1965 and retired from Santa Fe Railroad after 17 years of service. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of Sethward Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Luana Loflin of Plainview; three daughters: Donna Morris, Amy & Tony Ratliff and Susie Loflin, all of Plainview; three sons: Wesley & Cathy Loflin of Plainview, Gene & Lori Loflin of Foothill Ranch, CA and John & Darlene Loflin of Highland Ranch, CO; one brother: Earl Loflin of Missouri; one sister: Gaye Arnold of Clovis, NM; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandson. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday, December 1, 2006 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
