Vickie Joyce Tilley (Plainview)

Vickie Joyce Tilley, 52, of Plainview, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2010, in Lubbock. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with Deacon Bobby Tilley of Longview officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A visitation for family and friends will be from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at the funeral home. Mrs. Tilley was born on October 11, 1958, in Spur, Texas, to L.C. Tilley and Faye Murphy. She grew up and attended school there in Spur and moved to Plainview in 1997, where she worked at Golden Corral, Holiday Inn, Nu Griddle and Burlington Railroad. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, Billy Tilley and Jackie Tilley and one sister, Beverly Dickerson. She is survived by three sons, Brent Tilley and Amanda Mills of Lawton, OK, Gilbert Hutson of Lawton, OK, and Cody Hutson and Mary Beth Lewis of Lawton, OK, one daughter, Kimberly Hutson of Lawton, OK, her mother, Faye Murphy of Plainview, one sister, Jan Kuntz & husband Daryl of Ogilvie, MN, seven brothers, Sonny Tilley of Dickens, Bobby Tilley & wife Rita of Longview, Ronnie Tilley & wife Frieda of Wilson, Bruce Tilley & wife Kathy of Sanger, Donnie Tilley of Lubbock, Roy Tilley of Plainview and Johnny Tilley of Plainview, special friends, Danny Scott of Lubbock and Thomas Falcon of Plainview, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
