Tulia, Texas— Maebel Barrow, 80, died Friday, December 8, 2006 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, December 13, 2006 in the First Baptist Church with Edward Barrow, her son-in-law, officiating and Rev. Melvin Tatum assisting. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors. She was born February 18, 1926 in Delia, TX where she grew up and attended schools. She married Roy Barrow in 1942. He died in 1983. Mrs. Barrow lived in Tulia over 50 years and was a housewife. She was a member of the Church of God In Christ-Jackson Chapel in Tulia. Survivors include 6 daughters; Anita Barrow of Ft. Worth, Bessie Barrow of Tulia, Joycelyn Watters of Ft. Worth, Sharon Menson of Amarillo, Connie Willis of Phoenix, AZ and Sandra Henderson of Amarillo, 7 sons; Jerry Barrow of Corsicana, Fred Barrow of Long Beach, CA, Eddie Barrow, Sammie Barrow, Gerald Barrow, Adolphus Barrow and James Barrow all of Tulia, 60 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, two daughters; Francis Collins and Ruby Barrow and one son; Leroy Barrow.
