Xandra Miller of Plainview, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Covenant Hospital of Lubbock. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2006 at First Christian Church with Dr. Max Browning officiating. Burial will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Miller was born on July 5, 1933 in Plainview to Ray D. and Kathleen Looper Blair. She married Ralph Miller on June 18, 1950 in Clovis, New Mexico. Xandra graduated from Plainview High School in 1950. She had worked at Maxine’s for several years and as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a member of First Christian Church where she served as a deaconess, board member, and had worked with the youth. Survivors include her husband Ralph Miller of Plainview; a daughter Diane Williams and husband Mike of Plainview; a son Dicky Miller and wife Pam of Plainview; a sister Kay Bates and husband Mike of El Paso; four grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
